Aminoglycoside neutralizer
Summary: Aminoglycoside neutralizer is a neutralizing agent specifically used for aminoglycoside antibiotics, which can effectively neutralize kanamycin, gentamicin, tobramycin, kaempferol, acamicin, and other antibiotics, rendering them inactive.
Scope of application: 1. Can be used for sterile testing and microbial limit testing of aminoglycoside antibiotic raw materials and their formulations. (Applicable to the Chinese Pharmacopoeia, as well as the United States Pharmacopoeia, etc.); 2. Can be used for environmental monitoring in the production workshop of aminoglycoside antibiotics; 3. Aseptic testing of blood culture to eliminate false negatives caused by aminoglycoside antibiotics in blood samples.
【 Usage 】 1. Before entering the sterile room, please wipe the outer wall of the penicillin bottle with disinfectant. The inner surface of the isolator is suitable for sterilization. 2. Can be dissolved in culture medium, rinse solution, and physiological saline solution. 3. Add neutralizing agent to the rinsing solution: Use a sterile syringe or other method to extract an appropriate amount of neutralizing agent and add it to the sterilized rinsing solution. 4. Neutralizing agent added to liquid culture medium: Using the needle provided on the fully enclosed bacterial culture apparatus, extract an appropriate amount of neutralizing agent and add it to each tube of the apparatus. Neutralizing agent can be added before or after introducing the culture medium. 5. Add neutralizing agent to solid culture medium: Cool the agar containing culture medium to around 45 ℃, add the neutralizing agent solution, mix evenly, and immediately pour it into a culture medium petri dish containing neutralizing agent. Suggested dosage: Use 2-3 tubes per batch of samples. Adjust the enzyme dosage appropriately based on the strength of the antibacterial activity of the tested product and the washing amount. The specific amount should be subject to methodological validation.
